How do you solve problems? Do you go to others to ask for advice? Do you write down the pros and cons of making a decision? Neither of these options are bad. In fact, both tools can be beneficial when you’re trying to make a decision. However, your initial wisdom should come from God. If we’re not careful, we will go to a friends and family, and then ask God what He thinks. He shouldn’t be our last tool when we’re trying to make a decision. If we’re not careful, we’ll use God as a last resort to find wisdom.
While people mean well, sometimes they can give us advice that contradicts what God wants for us. This can cause us to miss out on receiving God’s best. This is why it’s so important to seek God first.
Seeking wisdom from God doesn’t have to be a difficult process:
1. Simply ask Him for help making a decision.
2.Ask Him to make you sensitive to His voice.
Remember, God wants to be involved in every decision you make. No matter how big or small.
